Under the new service of GP’s with Special Interests (GPSI):

Dr Diggory is GPSI in Orthopaedics and holds fortnightly Clinics for patient’s with symptoms
of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.

Dr Lynch is GPSI in Dermatology and holds Clinics at Pickering and Malton for people with dermatological problems.

Dr Taylor-Helps is GPSI in vascectomies and holds clinics twice a month at Malton Hospital.

GP’s in the Ryedale area are able to refer patients who are seen in Surgeries rather than being referred to the Hospital. The aim is to reduce waiting lists at the Hospital and enables patients to be seen quicker and more conveniently.

Patients are seen in the GPSI Clinics and are either treated and referred back to their own GP and then continue under the care of the GPSI or referred on to a Consultant at a Hospital,
as appropriate.
