Current Vacancies

Please head over to our Job Vacancies section to review our latest and exciting opportunities here at Derwent Practice.

The facility to book appointments on-line has temporarily been suspended due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Please follow the link below to the new on-line consultation service that the practice is offering.

GP On-Line Consultations

Please click the link below to start an online consultation with a GP.

Appointmentscalendar

Consultations with the doctors are by appointment and can be booked by calling at Derwent practice or by telephoning (01653) 600069.  When you make an appointment we will send you a confirmation text and a reminder the day before your appointment.  If you do not attend your appointment we will contact you by text.

All medically urgent cases will be seen the same day.

Telephone Advice

Often a word with the doctor can save an appointment.  The receptionist will be able to tell you the time your doctor deals with telephone enquiries.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Please note that all incoming and outgoing calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
